HEAVEN IS COUNTING ON YOU - ON ALL OF US Official Website of Author Cecelia Davis
Why is Heaven counting on us? We have a loving Father who wants only the best for us. He wants us to be reunited with Him. He didn't create us to kill or be killed; to harm or be harmed. We are His agents to help hurting people throughout the world. Each of us is given a mission in this life. Some have fulfilled that mission while others turn their backs on the greatest adventure of their lives. One person will have an effect on all eternity.
We don't realize that the very air teems with God's servants and demonic forces literally fighting over the souls. One desires to lead the soul to eternal life and peace; the other to everlasting torment. We must choose our actions carefully and prayerfully. An action, thought, spoken word, whether good or evil will be like the waves carried through water as a pebble is dropped into it. From the pages of Heaven's Mission and its sequels, take a peek into the heavenly realms and see how (perhaps) God views people He placed on this earth; especially those in Bethel, Kansas. He chose one young lady to make a decision which will have an effect on those around her and generations to come for all eternity.
It is imperative to see that we are neither to bow before the angelic beings in adoration, nor are we to bring accusations against the most evil of them all. As written in the book of Jude, the angels dared not dispute with the devil. The great archangel, Michael who fought against the devil on one occasion, dared not speak a blasphemous curse against him, but merely said, “the Lord rebuke you.” There is a great temptation to call the demonic forces what they truly are, but if the angels are no match for them, how can a mere mortal dare to come against an evil being by him or herself? As the reader will find, such battles can be seen. One can see that the Lord may allow demonic forces to go only so far and no farther, (i.e. small boy wanders deep into the woods leaving what is familiar to him.) Throughout the entire Bible, there are instances of evil spirits and angels fighting against each other. There was a great war in heaven. The archangel Michael fought against Lucifer and a number of angels. One-third of the angels fell with Lucifer, leaving a remaining two-thirds with the archangel. Another time, Gabriel God's messenger, was sent to bring Daniel an answer to his prayer. However, the devil fought against him twenty-one days and Michael had to help Gabriel get free. When God commands the angels to protect the “inheritors of his salvation” the woods teem with countless beings, swords flashing through the air, all unseen by the naked eye, but very real. The characters are given battles to face and overcome, but are not left comfortless. When it appears all is lost, the Lord sends encouragement, in the form of an angel named Mac. Does he appear to be the archangel Michael? The answer is for the reader to decide. He appears as a farmer, a physician and a man wearing a poncho and wide-brimmed hat leading a horse. Another character trait is the sweet fragrance he emits from time to time. He regains his angelic form moments before he returns to the Father's throne. Laughter and celebration rings throughout the heavens as one soul after another yields to the great salvation offered.
