The story picks up 20 years after the birth of Jeremy. The formative years are waiting to be printed at a later date.

The young lady God has used so freely in His plan is nearing the end of her mission. She has one more mission ahead of her and goes willingly to fulfill it. She no longer has her husband and father at her side, but two grown boys with lives of their own. God still uses her in a mighty way, even with the onset of one of the most dreaded diseases imaginable. At first she is afraid, but soon realizes that fear is nothing more than false evidence appearing real.

She fulfills her final mission and the greatest blessing anyone has ever received is seen in her feeble form praising her Savior on bended knees outside in the dark of night. To the natural eye, one would think the moon was surely outshining itself on such a dark night.

In reality…

Johnny and Jeremy’s lives are not without adventure. Johnny finds out what it means to be ordained a minister of the Gospel. Things are asked of him that takes courage he isn’t sure he has. Will it be enough to get him through?

By the time he and his new bride return from their honeymoon, they realize the call or “mission” God has placed on their lives. What they don’t know is they are about to receive the testing of their lives. The little boy God will later place in their care will not be perfect. They will suffer chastisement because of it. Then God brings a healthy little girl into their lives. As the little girl ages, so does her love and care for her brother. God has given both children knowledge and wisdom to help each other in times of need.

Jeremy’s life changes suddenly when he goes from cleaning rooms and mopping floors to Administrator of the constant care home where he works. He knows nothing of what is asked of him, but must trust the Lord to show him.

As Johnny and Jeremy age they become more than just brothers. They become best of friends. Deep sorrow strikes while Johnny is waiting for his son to come out of surgery and recovery. He sees a fire on television and watches in horror as his brother goes into the burning building but never returns. He watches as the building collapses, hoping against hope that somehow, Jeremy was able to escape.

Days later, he prepares to go make arrangements for his brother’s body and that of a dear friend.

The reader can see where the enemy of the soul is intent on causing trouble and disaster everywhere he can.

How far will God allow the enemy to go before He says, ENOUGH?
